Short Description: This design was inspired by the simplicity of a wooden pavilion roof at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. Knit from brim to crown, this reversible ribbed beanie features pronounced slipped stitch columns that feed into the center top of the hat.
Materials Used: Worsted weight, MC ~ 80yds(standard), 120yds(folded brim), CC - 60yds; Shown in Cascade Ecological Wool & Debbie Bliss Luxury Tweed (standard version), Malabrigo Merino Worsted & Plymouth Boku (folded brim version)
Needle Size: 1 set US 6/4mm and US 7/4.5mm DPNs
Gauge: 22 sts = 4"/10cm in 3x1 rib (unstretched), using US 7/4.5mm needles
Finished Measurements: One size to fit average adult head (22-24"/56-61cm)
Pattern Includes: Option to knit standard beanie style or the hat with a folded brim.
