Bathtime Blossoms

These washcloths and matching soap sacks feature garter stitch lace blossoms that look great all year. The round washcloths are worked back and forth in short row wedges. The soap sacks are knit flat and seamed. Sizes: Washcloths: Approximately 9½" (24cm) in diameter. Soap Sacks: 5" (13 cm) long and 3" (8cm) wide. Berry Cute Hat

This cute hat can be a raspberry or blackberry depending on color choice. 3 sizes for babies and children of all ages. Design by Bev Galeskas Sizes: Small, Medium and Large. Fits head size up to 19" (20½", 22½") (48 (52, 57) cm). Elastic may be sewn into band if needed to fit a smaller size. Yarn Requirements: 50 (60, 70) yards of green and 95 (115, 140) yards of berry color in a worsted weight yarn that will knit to the gauge given below. Needles: 16" (40cm) circular in US sizes 6 and 8 (4 & 5mm) and double pointed in size 6 (4mm), or size needed to obtain gauge. Note: Band is worked on larger needles with a double strand of yarn. Felt Hat II

In single strand worsted weight Design by Bev Galeskas Our lightweight felt hat offers a choice of three sizes and two brim variations. Made in a single strand of worsted weight, it is great for handpainted yarns. Three Sizes: Child (adult small, adult large). The exact finished size is determined by the amount of felting and the form used for blocking. This can be a head form, bowl or ball. Choose one that is just slightly larger than recipient's head measurement. Yarn Requirements: Approximately 250 (300, 340) yards (230, 277, 314 meters) of worsted weight wool or wool / mohair blend for the wide brim version. Approximately 30 (40, 45) yards (28, 36, 42 meters) less for the narrow brim hat. Use only wool, mohair, alpaca or blends of these that will felt to a firm fabric. Felted Clog

Design by Bev Galeskas One of our most popular patterns. . Knit with double yarn. Sizes: Women's sm, med, lg and men's med and lg. To fit US shoe size up to women's 6, (8, 10) and men's (11,13). Sizes can easily be adjusted up or down by carefully controlling the felting, which is the key to a really custom fit. Yarn Requirements: Approximately 500 (540, 580 / 675, 720) yards per pair. This yardage allows for yarn to be held double throughout. Contrasting cuffs require from 50 to 70 yards depending on size. Cuffs with novelty yarn require about 35 yards of a thick "fur" type synthetic yarn that will hold up to the felting process. 2-color clogs will require approximately 1/3 of the yardage in upper color and 2/3 in sole/cuff color, but be sure to allow for some extra in each color. Choose a worsted weight wool that felts easily to a firm fabric. Shown in double strand Naturally 10 ply Alpine, 100% New Zealand wool. Teal clog has Temptation added to the cuff and the cuff of brown clog is knit in 10 ply. Optional: Fiber Trends suede soles will add both traction and durability to your clogs.
