- orders of $75.00 or more ship Priority Mail - FREE!

- purchases $70.01-$120.99: $12.00 shipping

Outside the United States & Canada

- Unless noted otherwise, orders are shipped within three (3) business days of receiving order.
- All orders are shipped during our weekday business hours.
- You will receive notification via email and/or telephone of any delay or cancellation of your order.
- All orders are sent uninsured; Yarns By Design is not responsible for packages that do not arrive. Please call or email us for the cost to insure your order.
- Yarns By Design is not responsible for orders that cannot be delivered due to an undeliverable or incorrect mailing address. If the package is returned to us, we can issue you a credit or refund of the purchase total minus the cost of shipping & handling.
- Live outside of the US: Customs fees are determined by your own country’s customs agency. As a retailer, we are required by law to mark customs forms with the actual package contents, their value, and as “merchandise”. Shipping costs at checkout are for your package's postage payment only. You may incur an additional fee via your country's specific agency requirements which is the responsibility of the customer, not of Yarns By Design.

We realize your privacy is very important to you. Yarns By Design is committed to maintaining the privacy of your information. We respect your privacy and do not share any information collected on the site. When you make a purchase through our site, the contact information you submit is used to deliver your order as well as to notify you about updates to our site and merchandise. We also use this information for our own marketing purposes.
- Returns & Replacements
- US customer: Unused yarn, in its original condition (no smoke/pet exposure) and prior approval via *email from Yarns By Design may be exchanged for store credit within 30 days of purchase.

- Quantity and type of yarn to be returned
- Reason for your return
- Once we have received all the information regarding your return, we will reply with the total amount of the credit you are eligible to receive.
- Packages must arrive to us within 15 calendar days of return approval. A store credit will be issued when your return is received and accepted.
- Yarns By Design does not accept returns/exchanges on books, patterns, needles, accessories or sale items.
- Shipping costs to and from Yarns By Design will be your responsibility and are not refundable, unless your order was filled incorrectly.
- We strongly suggest that you insure all items to be exchanged. We cannot assume responsibility for exchanged items lost or damaged in shipping.
- Orders sent in error or defective may be returned for full credit or replacement. We will take all the steps necessary to get the order correct for you. Please email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to let us know of the problem with your order.
- Every effort is made to display as accurately the yarn colors. Because computer monitors render color differently and yarn is dyed in lots, variations may occur and we cannot guarantee the color will be an accurate representation of our products.
- We are more than happy to wind your yarn free of charge. Please note that we cannot accept exchanges or returns of wound yarn. To have your order wound, leave a note in the "comments" section of your order or email us your request at email@example.com.
- REGISTRATION: Please register online, in-store, or call us at (412) 794-8332. We require students to pre-register at least 72 hours in advance and payment in full at the time of registration in order to reserve your spot.
- CLASS MINIMUMS: Private = 1 student, Group = 2 or more.
- CANCELLATIONS: Registrants may cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled class (via email: info@YarnsByDesignPA.com, subject: class cancellation) and have one (1) month to reschedule. We will not accept cancellations via voicemail. All late cancellations result in a forfeit of the scheduled class. If YBD must cancel a class, we will either issue a full refund or provide the opportunity to reschedule the class.
- MISSED CLASSES: We do not offer make-ups or credit for missed classes.
- PROMPTNESS: We do not make up any time lost for tardiness, please arrive promptly. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you forfeit the class and fees.
- CLASS DISCOUNTS: Students will receive a 10% discount on the purchase of supplies required for the class.
- OTHER DETAILS: Class fees do not include the cost of yarn/materials. All students are asked to use yarn purchased from Yarns By Design, everything you need is available at the YBD boutique.

Sales taxes are based on the location of Yarns By Design, Pennsylvania. Thus, customers will be charged sales tax on all products except yarn.

- Occasionally there may be information on our site that contains errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, images, pricing, promotions, offers and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on the site is inaccurate at any time without prior notice.
